Is it too soon to be looking ahead to 2017 book releases?

Please don’t say it is, because I am SO EXCITED for some of these releases I could wee.

You’re welcome for that image. But it’s true. There are some good books coming out in 2017, fam. Here are just some of the titles I’m most looking forward to.

Roll on January. Srsly. I need this book in my life so badly.

On a planet where violence and vengeance rule, in a galaxy where some are favored by fate, everyone develops a currentgift, a unique power meant to shape the future.

Loved the heck out of the ending of ‘Passenger’, so really intrigued as to WHERE THE BALLS this book is going to take us. Also, that cover. Not sure it quite reaches the exalted status as its predecessor but it’s still damn beautiful.

As Etta and Nicholas fight to make their way back to one another, from Imperial Russia to the Vatican catacombs, time is rapidly shifting and changing into something unrecognizable… and might just run out on both of them.

2017 is going to be a very purple year for covers, maybe? Anyhoodle. I LOVE this series. It’s right up my street and I cannot wait to get back to these characters.

No synopsis yet. Sad times.

And now for the books that, as yet, do not have covers.

‘Unearthed’ by Amie Kaufman and Meagan Spooner

Jules Addison and Amelia Radcliffe join forces in a tomb-raiding race on a newly discovered planet to unravel the secrets of an ancient, long-extinct civilization — only to uncover a revelation that could spell the end of the human race.

Sold.

‘Wonder Woman’ by Leigh Bardugo

It’s Leigh freakn’ Bardugo. I would follow her books into the fiery pits of hell. #dramatic

No synopsis yet, but it’s Wonder Woman people. Let’s just use our imaginations.

‘Beast’ by Lisa Jensen

This is my favourite fairy tale. Ever. So I’m always ready to gobble up more retellings of it. Especially when they sound as badass as this one:

A literary retelling of the Beauty and the Beast story, in which the beast much choose between a beautiful human form with a monstrous heart, or a monstrous exterior with a human heart.
